Milky Way over the White River Light Station

While out searching for the Northern Lights, Jenna and I stopped out to the White Lake Channel and took a few Milky Way shots over the White River Light Station Museum. I really love this photo and it looks amazing in Vivid HD Metal!

Perfect Ending

Sunsets like these are the perfect ending to a long work day. Take a walk out to the lighthouse and enjoy the view 🙂

Flagler Beach Florida Pier

I took this photo of the Flagler Beach Pier in 2016. Jenna was playing around in the water behind me 😀 I really love the way this photo just draws you into the water.

Downtown Chicago

Jenna and I took a trip to Chicago and went to the Shedd Aquarium. We couldn't help but stop and take a few night shots on our way home. The big city life is a little too busy and chaotic for me, but it's nice to visit once in awhile 🙂

Grand Haven Lighthouse

This shot is amazing. I love the way the waves are being highlighted behind the sun. It was definitely very windy and the waves were intense.

Harney Peak / Black Elk Peak

Black Elk Peak (formerly Harney Peak) is the highest natural point in South Dakota. It lies in the Black Elk Wilderness area, in southern Pennington County, in the Black Hills National Forest. The peak lies 3.7 mi (6.0 km) WSW of Mount Rushmore. At 7,242 feet (2,207 m), it has been described by the Board on Geographical Names as the highest summit in the United States east of the Rocky Mountains. It is also known as Hinhan Kaga (in Lakota). The Federal Board of Geographic Names has recently designated it “Black Elk Peak” and is only accessible by hiking 7.1 miles up into the mountains.

Mackinac Bridge

The Mackinac Bridge unites Michigan's upper and lower peninsulas. It is the longest suspension bridge in the Western Hemisphere with 7,400 feet of roadway suspended in the air over the straits of Mackinac. It is also the fifth longest suspension bridge in the world. Show your Michigan pride by having a piece of this incredible architecture hanging on your wall 😉

Perseid Meteor Shower

The Perseid meteor shower is the most widely observed and dependable annual meteor display of the year, and its peak being an excellent example of celestial fireworks, weather permitting. This picture was taken over the Muskegon River on 8/12/15 around 1am. I really love the composition with the power lines and the Milky Way to the left. Notice the huge fireball on the horizon 🙂

Dramatic Barn

I found this Dramatic Barn on my way to Nunica one day. I used my wide angle lens and worked with the clouds to create this fantastic image. It's been a fan favorite for years 🙂

Tunnel Vision

The sunset on the horizon reflects off these rusty structures to give you an amazing one of a kind perspective. Stare into this photo and let it bring you from the beach, out to the rough Lake Michigan waters.
