Stairway to Heaven

This picture was taken at Kruse Park aka Bronson Park in Muskegon, MI. Walking these stairs during the daytime will give you some amazing views of Lake Michigan, but it gets even better at night!

Lake Michigan Sunset KiteBoarders

This photo was taken on October 19th, 2015 at Pere Marquette Beach in ‪#‎Muskegon‬, MI. It was a very cold and windy day. The Lake Michigan kiteboarders and windsurfers were out there having a ton of fun as I sat along the shoreline and photographed them for a little bit. I hope you enjoy 🙂

Lake Michigan Water Spout

I photographed this huge Lake Michigan Water Spout at the Muskegon State Park! It only lasted about 1-2 minutes but it was AMAZING! If you’re interested in a print, I can sell it with or without the people in it. I could easily remove them if it bothers you. I figured this would be a cool picture to add to my collection. I hope you like it 🙂

Lake Michigan Life

This photo is perfectly described as “Lake Michigan Life”. What more could you ask for to have this in your own backyard?

Red Sky at Night

Jenna and I went down to Pere Marquette on September 27th, 2017 and took this amazing photo. The sky was awesome for about an hour before sunset, I knew it was going to be a good one 🙂

Lake Michigan Rage 2017

This photo was taken August 17th, 2017. The waves were crazy that day. Jenna and I saw it on the Muskegon beach webcams and ran down there to capture it. I love the way the light reflects off the tops of the waves.

Milky Way over the White River Light Station

While out searching for the Northern Lights, Jenna and I stopped out to the White Lake Channel and took a few Milky Way shots over the White River Light Station Museum. I really love this photo and it looks amazing in Vivid HD Metal!

Perfect Ending

Sunsets like these are the perfect ending to a long work day. Take a walk out to the lighthouse and enjoy the view 🙂

After The Dark Comes The Light

I took this awesome photo while trying to chase down some storm clouds coming over Lake Michigan. Even though I arrived after most of the storm went by, I was still able to capture this before the skies cleared.

Flagler Beach Florida Pier

I took this photo of the Flagler Beach Pier in 2016. Jenna was playing around in the water behind me 😀 I really love the way this photo just draws you into the water.

Lake Michigan Angry Waves

This was taken August 22nd, 2017. You can definitely tell that fall is on its way. The waves were very aggressive, so I laid down in the sand to get a lower perspective of the sunset 🙂

Grand Haven Lighthouse

This shot is amazing. I love the way the waves are being highlighted behind the sun. It was definitely very windy and the waves were intense.

Lake Harbor Park Walkway

Lake Harbor Park is a great place to take a walk and enjoy nature. Start at the parking lot, walk through the woods, down the trails, over the dunes and out to Lake Michigan 🙂

Fiery Skies

Sunsets like this are my favorite. The low lying clouds are highlighted and look like they are on fire once the sun sets below the horizon.

After the Rain

It was cloudy and rainy all day, but for some reason I knew there was going to be a nice sunset. I went down to the beach, waited for 45 minutes for the rain to stop and out came the sun 🙂

Lake Michigan Icebergs

Some people hibernate in the Winter, but I like going out and finding interesting scenes like this cool “Ice Volcano” about 80 yards out on Lake Michigan. I just have to make sure I bundle up nicely 🙂

Wild is the Wind

These catamarans sitting inside the Muskegon breakwater always make an interesting foreground for a nice sunset photo.

Maui Crashing Waves

I took this photo during my trip to Maui in 2016. There were 30-50 foot waves in northeast Maui that week and surfers were out there enjoying every minute of it.
