Lake Michigan Sunset KiteBoarders

This photo was taken on October 19th, 2015 at Pere Marquette Beach in ‪#‎Muskegon‬, MI. It was a very cold and windy day. The Lake Michigan kiteboarders and windsurfers were out there having a ton of fun as I sat along the shoreline and photographed them for a little bit. I hope you enjoy 🙂

Lake Michigan Life

This photo is perfectly described as “Lake Michigan Life”. What more could you ask for to have this in your own backyard?

Red Sky at Night

Jenna and I went down to Pere Marquette on September 27th, 2017 and took this amazing photo. The sky was awesome for about an hour before sunset, I knew it was going to be a good one 🙂

Lake Michigan Rage 2017

This photo was taken August 17th, 2017. The waves were crazy that day. Jenna and I saw it on the Muskegon beach webcams and ran down there to capture it. I love the way the light reflects off the tops of the waves.

Perfect Ending

Sunsets like these are the perfect ending to a long work day. Take a walk out to the lighthouse and enjoy the view 🙂

Lake Michigan Angry Waves

This was taken August 22nd, 2017. You can definitely tell that fall is on its way. The waves were very aggressive, so I laid down in the sand to get a lower perspective of the sunset 🙂

The Light Behind

This photo is pretty cool. I don't have much to say about it, I've been working on my website for 10 hours today lol. This photo was taken at Pere Marquette Beach in Muskegon, MI.

Walk into the Light

This photo is called “Walk into the Light”. It just draws you into the sunset. I really like the way this turned out and that sky was amazing!

Something for Everyone to Enjoy

Walks out to the end of the Muskegon Pier really are amazing. It's a special place for local residents and people out of the area to enjoy, free of charge. The memories will last forever 🙂

Grand Haven Lighthouse

This shot is amazing. I love the way the waves are being highlighted behind the sun. It was definitely very windy and the waves were intense.

Fiery Skies

Sunsets like this are my favorite. The low lying clouds are highlighted and look like they are on fire once the sun sets below the horizon.

After the Rain

It was cloudy and rainy all day, but for some reason I knew there was going to be a nice sunset. I went down to the beach, waited for 45 minutes for the rain to stop and out came the sun 🙂

Lake Michigan Icebergs

Some people hibernate in the Winter, but I like going out and finding interesting scenes like this cool “Ice Volcano” about 80 yards out on Lake Michigan. I just have to make sure I bundle up nicely 🙂

Wild is the Wind

These catamarans sitting inside the Muskegon breakwater always make an interesting foreground for a nice sunset photo.

After the Storm

I always head down to the beach whenever there's a storm. You just never know when the sun will pop out and greet you with tons of colors. These are the best kinda of sunsets 🙂

Stormy Shoreline 2

Dramatic skies like these are my favorite. Combined with a nice sunset make them even better. This photo was taken on August 19th, 2016 at Pere Marquette Beach in Muskegon, Michigan.

Duck Lake Channel Sunset

This beautiful sunset picture was taken at the Duck Lake Channel on 4-23-16. I waited until the perfect time of the year to get the sun directly in front of the walkway 🙂
